Great Pyrenees - Extra Large - Baby - Female - Dog - Tess

Tess has a Grade IV Heart Murmor. She is on Heart medication and of course there are no guarantees in store for her. There is just no way to know when her heart will stop functioning without the proper tests/treatment. We are a small rescue and can not fund this without an adopter or someone willing to adopt her financially - paid directly to the vets. We just placed a German Shepherd puppy that had the same level heart murmor as Tess and he just had heart surgery and is now considered normal and able to live a completely normal life. They first had a cardiac ultrasound which determined his problem and next he had his valvuloplasty and it went really well. Before the procedure his right ventricle pressure was 175. Normal range is 10-20 range. After the procedure he was at 70-75 which is considered very successful he will spend a few weeks on limited activity to recover from the surgery and then his pressure could be even better still but at the number it is at is perfectly acceptable. I pray every day that the home will come along that is willing to give this same gift to poor little Tess. She is such an exceptional dog and so deserves this chance in her life.
